2007 Kelt Capital Spring Carnival
The highlight of racing calendar in Hawke’s Bay is the $2,000,000 Kelt Capital Stakes, which are to be held at the Hawke's Bay Racing Centre on Saturday 6th October 2007. This day of glamour and glitz is New Zealand’s most prestigious and richest raceday.

Hawke's Bay Mercedes-Benz Wine Awards
The 2006 Hawke's Bay Mercedes-Benz Wine Awards promises to once again deliver a first class array of award-winning wines from Hawke's Bay. This is New Zealand's only regional wine awards, entries are restricted to wines with at least 85% Hawke's Bay fruit. International and national judges commence judging one week prior to the stella awards night function. Held at the stunning Waikoko Gardens, Hawke's Bay Showground's on 17th October 2006. This is a must attend wine industry event.

Brebner Print Art Deco Weekend
Napier's Art Deco Weekend is held every year on the third week of February. Join our hectic programme and enjoy wining, dining, jazz, dancing, film, theatre, house tours, vintage cars, plane rides, and much, much more.  February 15 -18 2007.

Church Road Jazz Concert
The Church Road Jazz concert is part of the annual Harvest Hawke's Bay festival and always features a fabulous collection of musical entertainers each year in its open air environment. February 3rd 2007.  

Harvest Hawke’s Bay

WETA Wine & Food Festival
A family picnic day encompasses the best of Hawke’s Bay wine, food, artists, crafts and music in park like surroundings.  February 17 2007.

Sea, Sky and Bush Walk
The Waipukurau Rotary Club's popular 3-day guided walk across beautiful Central Hawke's Bay farmland. Take in the awesome coastline, river lands and natural bush.  March 3-5  2007.

Bluewater Hotel Deco Decanted
A mid-winter celebration of the Art Deco Style in Napier New Zealand. A series of events that centre around dressing in the style of the 1920's and 1930's, jazz music, vintage cars, and a city-wide immersion in the style that made those days so flamboyant. It is a wonderful, friendly, and fun way to lose yourself for a couple of mid-winter days.  July 20-22 2007.
