Port of Napier
When international cruise passengers sail in to Napier and step off the luxury liners, they get an immediate feel for the region. The Port recognises the importance of the cruise industry to the region and supports Hawke's Bay Wine Country with a strong branding partnership. Right at the foot of the gangplank is a shipping container emblazoned with the Hawke's Bay Wine Country logo. It is used by the jazz band for welcomes and farewells. The Port and Hawke's Bay Tourism are also joint members of Cruise New Zealand, an organisation dedicated to the marketing and development of New Zealand as a world class cruising destination.

Hawke’s Bay Today
It might be only four years old but the evening paper brings together some of the finest features from two of New Zealand's oldest newspapers. It has a regional readership of 66,000 from Wairoa to Dannevirke and has successfully launched a Saturday morning edition to better serve its weekend readers. Harvest Hawke’s Bay
